The primary election is just days away, and the midterm general elections will be upon us before we know it, so the Electoral Action Group of the Indivisible Maryland Coalition (a statewide network that we belong to, along with most of the other Indivisible chapters across the state!) has put together some wonderful resources related to candidate action, voter engagement, voter suppression, election subversion, and more—and we’re delighted to share a few of them here!

• Voter registration essentials: when, where, and how to register, plus eligibility requirements and more!
• Mail-in voting: how it works, how to do it, and where to learn more, plus information about provisional ballots too!
• Your rights as a voter: to vote in the manner of your choosing, in safety and without fear, with any accessibility assistance that you need, as long as you are in line by 8pm on Election Day.
• How to talk about voting: questions and conversation starters to encourage your friends, families, and neighbors to get out and vote!
• What to do if ICE or CBP show up at the polls: we all deserve to vote in safety and without fear—here’s what to do if that’s not happening.

The statewide Electoral Action group has plenty more resources, too—on topics like combatting voter suppression, participating in electoral activism, and more—which we’ll be sharing soon.
